Festive Christmas Hand Embroidery Patterns

The holiday season is the perfect time to cozy up with a simple, relaxing embroidery project! These Christmas-themed embroidery designs are sweet, minimal, and easy to stitch — perfect for adding a handmade touch to your décor or gifts this year.

This pattern set includes classic holiday motifs like holly, ornaments, stockings, mistletoe, and a cheerful Merry Christmas design. They’re great for beginners or anyone looking for quick, satisfying stitches to work on throughout the season.


What’s Included in the Pattern Set

Each design is pre-drawn and ready to trace or print as a stick and stitch pattern. You’ll receive:

  • Holly leaves and berries
  • Christmas ornaments in two styles
  • Poinsettia flower
  • “Merry Christmas” script
  • Stocking
  • Starburst and sprigs of greenery

Supplies You’ll Need

Poinsettia

  • top petals- 3 strands DMC 666, leaf stitch
  • bottom petals- 3 strands of DMC 221
  • back stitch with the opposite colors to make the veins of the petals
  • middle- 3 strands DMC 745 french knots

Holly

  • leaves- 3 strands of DMC 909 leaf stitch
  • berries- 3 strands of DMC 666 satin stitch
  • stem- 3 strands of DMC 909, stem stitch
