This is another of my favorite patterns that I want to be sure to feature in time for Valentine’s Day! My cat patterns have always been some of my best sellers, and I think this is one of my sweetest sets.
For this example, I used the following DMC threads: 4, 761, 600, 603, 19, 3347
Face- DMC 4, 2 strands, small back stitch
Nose & heart- DMC 761, 2 strands, satin stitch
Flowers- DMC 600 & 603, 2 strands, satin stitch
Flower center- DMC 19, 2 strands, French knots, 2 wrap
Leaves- DMC 3347, 2 strands, single chain
Stem- DMC 3347, 2 strands, stem stitch
*For the body outline, I initially did back stitch. Possibly due to my denial I need reader glasses, when I washed away the sticker with gray print, I realized my gray stitches did not look so well, so I went back and added stitches in between to make a split stitched look. Sharing this to show it’s okay to make mistakes…
